PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sulky rice transplanter having a good balance of the machine frame in the longitudinal direction irrespective of the residual quantity of a pasty or liquid fertilizer stored in a fertilizing tank. SOLUTION: This sulky rice transplanter in which a planting section is liftably disposed in the rear portion of the machine frame, characterized by disposing a fertilizing tank and a fertilizing pump on the lower surface of a step disposed at a place near to a shaft for driving rear wheels.
