PURPOSE: A new polymer electrolyte composition is provided which can be easily manufactured compared to a gel polymer electrolyte, obtains a high ionic conductivity even with a less electrolyte content and has superior mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION: In a polymer electrolyte composition for secondary batteries, the porous polymer electrolyte composition comprises a porous polymer matrix in which vinylchloride/vinylacetate copolymer and acrylate polymer are blended; and a liquid electrolyte in which lithium salts are added to an organic solvent impregnating micropores of the porous polymer matrix. In a method for manufacturing the polymer electrolyte composition for secondary batteries, the method comprises the steps of blending vinylchloride/vinylacetate copolymer and acrylate polymer using a cosolvent; obtaining a polymer film after adding a plasticizer to the blended solution for producing porous structures, casting a homogeneous solution manufactured by adding inorganic materials to the solution onto a glass plate and evaporating the cosolvent from the casted solution; obtaining a porous polymer film by impregnating the polymer film into diethylether, thereby selectively melting the plasticizer only in the film; and impregnating the porous polymer film into a liquid electrolyte manufactured by dissolving a lithium salt of 5 to 30 wt.% based on the polymer weight of at least one or more salts selected from lithium perchloride, lithium hexafluoro phosphate, lithium triflate, lithium bistrifluoro methylsulfonyl amide and lithium tetrafluoroborate into a solvent of 50 to 200 wt.% based on the polymer weight of one or more mixed solvents selected from ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, gamma-butyrolactone, ethylmethyl carbonate, dimethoxy ethane, diethoxy ethane and 2-methyl tetrahydrofuran. |
