PURPOSE: The system and the operation method for the interstitial advertisement while waiting the internet connection is provided to kill the bored waiting time by displaying the interstitial advertisement, and to create the new area of the advertisement market. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the web server(10), the advertisement document part(11), the homepage(12), the member DB(13), the PC(20), the web browser(21), and the interstitial advertisement program(22). The member DB stores a user's membership procedure data and the information on the interstitial advertisement use state. The advertisement document part includes the upgraded advertisement data and the mark code unit which displays the advertisement content according to the type of the interstitial advertisement program. The homepage, the free web site for presenting the interstitial advertisement information, includes the member ID, the password, and the download program. The web server transmits the updated interstitial advertisement, read by the advertisement document part, to the PC via the internet(30), or delivers the user's information using the interstitial advertisement to the member DB. The interstitial advertisement program controls the whole operation of the interstitial advertisement, and displays the interstitial advertisement on the PC monitor whenever waiting the connection. The PC displays the different advertisement information on the monitor, stores the updated interstitial advertisement from the web server, and provides the user's information using the interstitial advertisement to the member DB.
