PURPOSE: A non-oxidizing heating apparatus having a rotational heat storage unit is provided which increases a temperature of the furnace under the non-oxidizing environment by continuously heating an inert gas and blowing into the furnace without changing of the flow path by a converting valve, and recirculates the gas by recovering most of the inert gas blown into the furnace. CONSTITUTION: The non-oxidizing heating apparatus having a rotational heat storage unit comprises a burner (27) for generating a combustion gas having a high temperature; a continuously rotating heat storage unit (25) one part of which is continuously heated by a high temperature combustion gas generated from the burner (27), and non-oxidizing gas passing through the heated part so that the non-oxidizing gas to be blown into a furnace is heated; and an ejector (31) for recirculating the gas by recovering the non-oxidizing gas blown into the furnace (1).
