PURPOSE: An electric program guide display method and a record medium therefor are provided to simultaneously view a current program and electric program guide information and verify the programs of another channels without changing the current channel or viewing the electric program guide. CONSTITUTION: Under the state that a program of a desired channel is displayed on a digital TV screen, it is decided whether a user desires to view the electric program guide while viewing a program of a current channel. If the user desires the electric program guide, electric program guide information previously stored in a portion of the digital TV screen is displayed. Then, the displayed electric program guide information is scrolled by a predetermined time interval. Next, if the user selected a desired program by the electric program guide information, it is decided whether the selected program is being now broadcasted. It is changed to the program of the selected channel if being now broadcasted, and the selected program is reserved if not.
