METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MICROCAPSULE, AND THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a core substance surely contained, to reduce ground blushing of a fixing type thermosensitive recording material after raw preservation thereof and to improve a stain of a ground part of the fixing type thermosensitive recording material after an image is printed thereon. SOLUTION: A microcapsule is manufactured by a method wherein a diazonium salt expressed by a general formula and a microcapsule wall precursor are added to and emulsified in a water solution of water-soluble macromolecules and then the microcapsule wall precursor is polymerized. In this method, pH of the water solution of the water-soluble macromolecules is regulated to be larger than 4 and equal to or smaller than 6. General formula: Ar-N2+.X- (wherein Ar denotes an aromatic group and X- an acid anion).
