PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in size an overall stencil printer by decreasing a restriction in a layout in the case of assembling the printer by mounting stencil original paper on a printing drum in a normal state. SOLUTION: The stencil printer 1 comprises a thermal head 11, stationary conveying routes 13, 40, stationary side conveying rollers 14, 41, a movable conveying route 16 having an outlet 18, a movable side conveying roller 19 provided at the movable conveying route, a drive means for oscillating the movable route, and a printing drum 4. Engraved stencil original paper 8 is passed through the route 13 and the route 18 aligned linearly. Thereafter, the movable route is oscillated down at a fulcrum 17 as a center, and the outlet is directed toward a plate seat 6 of a plate mounting position of the drum. A clamping plate 7 is closed, and a leading end of the base paper is fixed to the drum. The drum is rotated and the base paper is wound on the drum. |
