PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air cleaner having a picture surface used as a filter medium sucking air from the picture surface to clean the same, embossing a figure or a character on the picture surface to display a degree of contamination, simply replacing the filter medium, drawing out a new picture surface by raising a frame to alway keep capacity and corresponding to a change of environment of day and night. SOLUTION: In an air cleaner having a picture surface used as a filter medium, the filter medium becoming the picture surface is unwound behind a frame and the back thereof is supported by a filter medium holding plate and a part preventing the passage of air of a figure or character such as an arrow is provided to the surface of the filter medium or a part preventing the passage of air is provided to the rear surface of the filter medium and a blower sucking air from the picture surface to discharge the same from an upper blowoff port is provided in a box-shaped case hidden behind the frame and a light receiving switch matched with a change of environment of day and night is provided. |
