PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device for a fire limit for fixing an evacuation door in a closed state so as not to open when surrounding environment goes into such a high temperature state where people cannot live. SOLUTION: An engaging pin 18 provided on the side of the evacuation door of a screen device 2 for a fire limit is fitted into engaging holes 26a and 28a when the evacuation door is closed. In the periphery of these, a lock plate 24 is arranged obliquely. One end part of the plate 24 is freely rotatably engaged with a fixing piece part 26 by a normal metallic machine screw 33. Further, the other end part of the plate 24 is engaged by a machine screw 33 formed of a thermal melting material such as synthetic resin. When an ambient temperature is raised, a machine screw 31 is melted to release the plate 24, and the plate 24 is fitted into a notch groove part 22 formed at the upper surface part of the outer periphery of the pin 18.
