PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a storing operation for a hook by a crane only when a boom is in storing state. SOLUTION: In this crane operating device having a hood storing mechanism, a load a detecting device 41 for detecting a state of the crane, a boom length detecting device 42, a boom angle detecting device 43, an arithmetic part 40 for judging whether a boom is in a storing state or not from data of the state of the crane detected by detecting devices 41, 42, 43 and a control part 39 for controlling based on a judgment of the arithmetic part 40 when the hook storing operation is done in an excessive winding state, to perform a hook storing operation if the boom is in the storing state and to step the operation if the boom is non in the storing state, are provided.
