PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress height of a cylinder head in a fuel supply device for an engine, and keep facility of attachment/detachment of a head cover. SOLUTION: Recessions 31, 32 are respectively formed on connection surfaces 9, 5 of a cylinder head 1 to which a fuel injection valve 14 is attached, and a head cover 2 to be connected to the cylinder head 1. A fuel supply pipe 21 penetrates through a pipe through-hole 30 determined by both of the recessions 31, 32. A cylindrical seal 34 is, for instance, fitted to the pipe through-hole 30 determined by the recessions 31, 32, and the fuel supply pipe 21 penetrates through the cylindrical seal 34.
