摘要 PURPOSE: A reverse rotation prevention structure for scroll compressor is provided to reduce noise caused by unstable operation of the check valve by preventing the refrigerant gas at the high pressure unit from reversely flowing to the low pressure unit and entering the compression pocket via the discharge port of the fixed scroll. CONSTITUTION: A reverse rotation prevention structure comprises a valve housing(55) coupled onto a discharge port(52) formed at a fixed scroll(51); a check valve(59) inserted in the valve housing in such a manner that the check valve moves in vertical direction along the guide surface of the valve housing and opens/closes the discharge port so as to control the flow of the refrigerant gas compressed in a compression pocket which is formed by the fixed scroll and the swirling scroll; and a valve stabilizing unit installed in the fixed scroll and the valve housing and which stabilizes the operation of the check valve by connecting the compression pocket at the low pressure side and the discharge chamber surrounded by the valve housing and the fixed scroll so as to form a uniform flow of the refrigerant gas discharged upon rising of the check valve. The valve stabilizing unit includes a scroll penetration hole(53) and a housing penetration hole(56) which are formed at the fixed scroll and the valve housing, respectively, so as to connect the compression pocket at the low pressure side and the discharge chamber.
