A twin system of conveyors has parallel banks of rollers resting on load cells from which differential signals can control the proportion of the load carried by each of the conveyors. Arrangement is esp. for continually dividing equally by mass a bulk material which varies in cross-section. Pref. the material distribution can be held steady during intermittent ancillary operations such as use of a cutter.
