PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify construction works for the floor structure of a building and reduce the cost of the floor structure, and to obtain a sufficient sound- insulating effect in the floor structure of the building. SOLUTION: A plurality of the floor material units 12 and connecting blocks 14A, 14B are spread all over alternately on a floor foundation 2, and a floor board 16 is laid on the units and blocks. Thus, a floor joist frame on the floor foundation as seen in conventional devices is made unnecessary, and the transmission of an impulsive sound and a living sound to an underfloor section through floor joists is prevented. In each floor material unit 12, a hard board 18 and a cushioning board 20 are stuck through a sound-insulating sheet 22 covering the whole region of the underside of the hard board 18, and the outer peripheral section 18a of the hard board 18 is projected from the side end face 20a of the cushioning board 20 by fixed size. In each connecting block 14A, 14B, sound- insulating sheets 26 are stuck in the whole regions of the top faces of cushioning boards 24 in approximately the same height as the cushioning board 20. Thus, the sound-insulating sheets 22 of the floor material units 12 and the sound- insulating sheets 26 of the connecting blocks 14A, 14B are stuck fast and superposed in the outer peripheral sections 18a of the hard boards 18.
