PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of a stop mark in warp in a warp treating agent coating machine for applying a treating agent to both sides of warp sheet by two coating rollers arranged in vertical direction. SOLUTION: In a warp treating agent coating machine (1) constituted so that a warp sheet 8 is traveled by being guided by a pair of guide rolls 11 and 12 vertically arranged and a pair of coating rollers 13 and 14 is vertically installed between these guide rolls 11 and 12 so as to come in contact with mutually different sides of the warp sheet 8, these guide rolls 11 and 12 are installed movably so that the warp sheet 8 is separated from adjacent coating rollers 13 and 14 and stop positions of guide rolls 11 and 12 are set so that length of warp passage is same before and after movement of guide rolls 11 and 12 and the above two guide rolls 11 and 12 are moved when the warp treating agent coating machine (1) stops.
