PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device not dirtying a sheet-like article as a conveying target over a long period. SOLUTION: This sheet conveying device provided with an endless belt having air suction holes on the front surface, at least two rolls for stretching and rotating the endless belt, a vacuum range including a part of the endless belt, and a suction means for depressurizing the inside of the vacuum range, and for sucking, holding and conveying the sheet-like article to the other part of the endless belt is provided with a cleaning means for cleaning the endless belt.
