PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material carrying in and out device capable of smoothly carrying in and out materials using an inexpensive device. SOLUTION: When a material W stored in a stocker 3 is transported by a supplier chain 45 and fed to a material feeding device 7, or a product P carried out by a material feeding device 9 is stored in a stocker 11 by the supplier chain 45, the material feeding device side of the supplier chain 45 is moved up and down by a supplier chain lifting means 55 in the range from the top to the bottom of the material feeding devices 7 and 9, and the stocker 3 is moved up and down by a stocker lifting means 65 in the range from the top to the bottom of the supplier chain 45.
