PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pure water making apparatus comprising a reverse osmosis membrane module, preventing the scaling or accumulation of silica to reverse osmosis membranes brought about when the concentration of silica in supply water increases and keeping the amount of transmitted water constant to obtain pure water in stable quantity. SOLUTION: A supply water/concentrated water quantity control means detecting the concentration of silica in concentrated water and controlling the amt. of supply water and the amt. of concentrated water so as to make the concentration value of silica constant is provided to a pure water making apparatus comprising a reverse osmosis membrane module.
