PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain double side branches-bearing seedling of two different kinds of vegetables that can be largely produced by using small size and capacity pots, reduced amounts of compost in reduced floor space in a shortened growing time. SOLUTION: Two different kinds of vegetable seedlings having the seed leaves (A1, B1), the first leaves (A2, B2) and the second leaves (A3, B3) are used to cut the stems between the seed leaf and the first leaf or between the fist leaf and the second leaf to separated into the lower part (1) and the upper part (2) and joint the one lower part (1) to the other upper part (2) and joint the remaining upper part to the other lower part thereby preparing two jointed seedlings (D, E). In both jointed seedlings, a side branch (H, I) is developed from one leaf root and the other side branch is extracted, while in the upper part (2), one leaf root is remained and the others are extracted to generate side branches (F, G) from the leaf root and two side branches (H, F) and (I, G) are extended from the lower side (1) and the upper side (2) to prepare objective double side branches-bearing seedling of two different kinds of vegetables.
