PURPOSE: A detecting method classifies overturn, inundation and unbalance phenomenon of a washing machine during dewatering stroke to smooth dewatering operation by the classifying result. CONSTITUTION: A detecting method comprises an allowed frequency setting up step(S110) and an abnormality determining step(S140, S150, S160, S170, S180, S190). The allowed frequency setting up step(S110) is to detect variation of frequency by the inductance variate by the interaction between a coil and a ferromagnetic and set up allowed frequency range in a normal condition during dewatering stroke. The abnormality determining step(S140, S150, S160, S170, S180, S190) is to continuously detect the variation of frequency during dewatering stroke and determine that abnormal dewatering is now under way if the detected result is without the allowed frequency range. |
