PURPOSE: Provided is an additive for an antifouling paint which prevents from attaching oyster shells or seaweeds to the bottom of a ship, structures under water, and cultivating nets. CONSTITUTION: The additive for the antifouling paint comprises 40-60wt.% of monazite powder generating anions always and 60-40wt.% of tourmaline powder, wherein the monazite powder and the tourmaline powder have an average particle size of 3-10micrometer. The monazite is phosphate mineral of cerium and lanthanide, and the tourmaline is silicate mineral containing boron. |
