PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for trespass detection which can evade misalarming due to a small animal or disturbing light and correctly detect a trespass from an opening such as a window, an entrance, and an exit of a building to be watched and is easily constructed. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with a 1st sensor 2X which has a detection area 7A at watched objects 5 and 6 and on the front side of a part above them and a 2nd sensor 2Y which has a detection area 7B at the watched objects 5 and 6 and on the front side of a part below them. Further, a logic circuit with a timer is provided to at least one of the 1st and 2nd sensors 2X and 2Y and an output path for outputting the detection signal from the detection part of the other sensor to the outside is provided to the other sensor. The logic circuit with the timer generates an alarm signal when receiving the detection signal from the detection part in the sensor 2X provided with this logic circuit with the time and the detection signal of the other sensor 2Y taken out through the output path within a specific time.
