SYSTEM FOR RE-PROGRAMMING MONITOR FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A system for re-programming a monitor function is provided to easily perform the change of the monitor function or remove a bug of a software by correcting internal data in a ROM capable of clearing and programming. CONSTITUTION: A VGA(Video Graphic Adapter) signal line set(18) is connected to a monitor controller(180) having a monitor system programming ROM unit. The monitor controller(180) drives a horizontal and vertical deviator(120) according to signals inputted from the VGA signal line set(18) and a program stored in the ROM unit. The deviator(120) successively activates a vertical booster(130) and a horizontal booster(140) so that an electronic beam crosses a CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) and is horizontally and vertically moved. The monitor controller(18) drives an OSD(On Screen Display)(150). The OSD(150) controls an image preamplifier(160), which receives a red signal(R), a green signal(G), and a blue signal(B). Signals provided from the image preamplifier(160) are transmitted to an image amplifier(170), and an image is displayed on a monitor screen.
