PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package wherein parts of a device to be stored in a wrapping material required to be in contact with a liquid can be uniformly wetted. SOLUTION: The package 1 includes a catheter 3 which is a long device to be inserted into or attached to a living body for use and a container 4 with a liquid 44 sealed, which are received in a wrapping material 2. The catheter 3 has, at a tip, an insert 31 to be inserted into the living body and, at a base end, a base 32 to be held in a hand. The insert 31 constitutes a part required to be in contact with the liquid which needs to be in contact with the liquid 44 flowing out of the container 4, and the base 32 constitutes a part not required to be in contact with the liquid which does not need to be in contact with the liquid 44. The container 4 has an unsealing port 43 comprising a weak seal. When a full length of the insert 31 of the catheter 3 is L, the unsealing port 43 of the container 4 is located at a region in a range of 3/4L from a border between the insert 31 and the base 32 or in the vicinity of its side. |
