PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more readily and inexpensively use a game offered as game software information at home. SOLUTION: A game machine 1, an STB 2 and a television set 3 are connected by a digital bus to construct a game machine system (a home network system). The STB 2 receives game software information offered by digital satellite broadcasting to be stored in a hard disk provided in itself. The game machine 1 gets access to the game software information stored in the hard disk of the STB 2 when necessary to play a game. An image plotted in the game machine 1 and data such as a background image from the STB 2 are supplied to the television set 3 through the digital bus to display a game image.
