PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration apparatus of which a plurality of the filtration chambers are formed to have a simple structure and a filtration method capable of filtering a raw liquid in a plurality of the filtration chambers. SOLUTION: A filtration cloth 5 and filter frames 4, 4G made of hollow elastic bodies are pinched separately between neighboring filtration plates 3, 3A and then a fluid is supplied to the filter frames as to form filtration chambers 15 for filtration surrounded by the filtration cloth in spaces surrounded with the neighboring filtration plates and the filter frames closely attached to the neighboring filtration plates.
