PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a canvas excellent in flameproof, waterproof, water-repellent, light-resistant properties, or the like, hardly generating a harmful gas such as chlorine gas, hydrogen chloride gas and dioxins. SOLUTION: This method for producing flameproof and waterproof canvas comprises dry-coating a mixed resin of a heat-meltable polyurethane resin and a phosphinic acid derivative on one surface of a base fabric for the canvas comprising a flame-retardant polyester fiber containing a phosphorus compound copolymerized therewith. |
