PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous pigment ink for a ballpoint pen that ensures good ink discharge properties and enables long distance writing by preventing wear or deformation of a ball bearing caused by rotation of the ball of the ballpoint pen chip as much as possible. SOLUTION: The aqueous ink for a ballpoint pen comprises an acrylic acid/ alkyl methacrylate copolymer or acrylic acid salt/alkyl methacrylate copolymer and a sucrose aliphatic acid ester. |
