PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the oblique of an image without unreasonable stress on a printing drum. SOLUTION: The stencil printer comprises a base 15 made of a pair of disc- like members 16 coaxially disposed with a common central axis and coupled by a coupling base 17. A clamping base 18 is rotatably mounted at the base 17. A clamping means 3 is clamped at the base 18. A screen member 2 of an ink permeable member mounted with stencil base paper is mounted at one end of the base 18, wound on the member along a rotating direction, and mounted at the other end at the clamp base by a spring. A cam 31 provided at the disc-like member is engaged with the base 18. When the cam is driven, the clamp base is rotated to the coupling base. The screen member is moved in a direction oblique and not in parallel with both the central axis and the rotating direction.
