PURPOSE: A method to construct a staircase using precast concrete is provided to improve quality and to reduce a terms of work and labor. CONSTITUTION: A construction method comprises ten steps. In the first step, a wall(11) of a staircase is constructed with precast concrete. In the second step, a retaining-wall form(12) is installed. In the third step, a lower landing form(13) is installed. In the fourth step, a scaffold(14) is installed. In the fifth step, a landing member(15) is installed. In the sixth step, a precast-concrete slab member(16) is installed. In the seventh step, temporary stairs(17) are installed. In the eighth step, an upper landing form(18) is installed. In the ninth step, concrete is poured into the retaining-wall and the landing. In the tenth step, the temporary stairs are removed and precast concrete stairs(19) are assembled.
