PURPOSE: Provided is a culture-assisting tool which can be laid on the surface of a culture soil after the setting of plant seedlings, does not damage the root balls of the plant seedlings, and can save a mulching work. CONSTITUTION: This tool for assisting the culture is used for mulching plant seedlings(13) which are cultured in a culture soil(12) charged in a culture container(11), is formed of a long synthetic film, and has at a constant distance a plurality of openings which permit the ground portions of the seedlings(13) to pass through. Adhesive portions of two rows capable of being adhered to the culture container(11) are arranged on the back surface of the tool.
