METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING SOFTWARE PROCESSOR IN DUPLICATED PROCESSORS

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a software processor in a duplicated processors is provided to determine either an active processor or a standby processor through a message exchange between duplicated processors and to automatically transfer the active and standby processors in case that the generation of a fault is detected. CONSTITUTION: An active side(A-side) forwards an active message(Act-Msg) to a standby side(B-side) at preset message sending intervals. At this moment, receiving the active message(Act-Msg), the standby side(B-side) transmits an activate message to the active side in order to transfer the active side(A-side) to the standby side(A-side) if the active message(Act-Msg) is not transmitted for a preset active fault detect interval. Accordingly the standby side(B-side) is transferred to the active side(B-side). Afterwards the active side(B-side) forwards the active message(Act-Msg) to the standby side(A-side) at preset message sending intervals.
