PURPOSE: A vibration and sound generating device prevents the confliction of magnetism generating portion under an over-voltage, thereby preventing the damage of goods and making an easy assembling and a protection against outside. CONSTITUTION: A sound is generated by the vertical movement of a vibrating panel(62) by a magnetic field generated from a magnet(80) and an electric field generated from a voice coil(64). Further, a vibration generated by a magnetic field from a magnet(82) and the electric field from the voice coil(64). The vibration is transmitted to outside by the vertical vibration of the spring portion(88) of a yoke. At the moment, the vertical vibration of the spring portion(88) is restrained in a constant area by a first and a second supporting members(66,68). Further, the transverse rolling of a magnetism generation portion is restrained by the insertion of the magnetism generation portion into the inner periphery of the first supporting member(66), when there is an outer impact.
