PURPOSE: A method for controlling the prevention of sudden start of an automatic speed change vehicle is provided to interrupt power transmission in a change gear by controlling speed change solenoid or rotary force of an engine, thereby promptly overcoming the state of sudden start. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the prevention of sudden start of an automatic speed change vehicle includes the steps of sensing car speed, throttle position of a throttle valve, the state of speed change range, the state of a brake(S10), judging whether a gear lever is in 'P' or 'N' range state; if judged as 'No' in the step S20, judging whether car speed is more than 5kph(S30), judging whether the throttle position is less than 5%(S40), converting control right of a speed change control solenoid from T.C.M.(S50), converting into 'N'range state(S60); if judged as 'YES' in the step S20, sensing 'ON' state of a brake switch(S70), judging whether position of the throttle valve is opened(S80), judging whether car speed is within the set range(S90), driving a first solenoid and a second solenoid of the speed change control solenoid for changing speed into a high stage gear(S100); if the position of the throttle valve is not opened, judging whether the output of a pedal pressure sensor is more than the set value(S120), adjusting spark timing of an engine and fuel injection amount(S130).
