PURPOSE: To provide a card connector with a card discharging function which can prevent a card from flipping out of a card connector by a spring member without weakening the spring which gibes momentum to a slide member and can make a card easily taken out when necessary. CONSTITUTION: A card connector comprises a housing 1, a card 3 which is inserted or pulled into or out of the housing 1, an eject arm 8 which is engaged with the card 3 and provided in such way that it can rotate in the direction of insertion and discharge of the card, a slide member 7 which can slide in the direction of insert and discharge of the card 3, a return spring 5 which gives momentum to the slide member 7 in the direction of discharge of the card 3 ad a holding member 6 which holds the slide member 7 in the position where the card 3 has been inserted, resisting the return spring 5. Action regulating means 4g, 8f are provided to regulate the movement of the eject arm 8 while the slide member 7 is sliding.
