PURPOSE: A free-size cap is provided to adjust a cap according to a head size of a wearer and to comfort the wearer by causing no oppression. CONSTITUTION: A free size cap includes a crown(2) with a multi-gore shell. The multi-gore shell form a flexible seams(4) therebetween. One of the gores(1-1¯1-6) and flexible seams(4) forming the multi-gore shell are composed of a biaxially stretchable woven, or knitted material. The hem around the lower part of the crown(2) is made into an elastic headband(3) to accommodate a variety of sizes of heads and to absorb a sweat.
