WARP KNITTING MACHINE WITH PATTERN PRESSER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a pattern presser mounted on a warp knitting machine having a passively movable press bar and press elements capable of selectively and individually controlling the pressure contact with the head of an ancillary beard needle in the work stroke of the press bar. SOLUTION: This warp knitting machine has a passively movable press bar 10 and individual press elements 46 and has such a scheme that each of the press elements 46 is capable of selectively controlling the pressure contact with the head 19 of an ancillary beard needle 5 in the work stroke 41 of the press bar so that the pressure contact is run or not; a piezoelectric bending transducer 42 with one side nipped corresponds to each of the press elements, the free end 44 of the bending transducer is made shiftable from a 1st position to 2nd position of the pressure contact in the work stroke in the direction of needle line, and at the 2nd position, the press element or a power transmission element provided at the preceding step is provided biasedly in the direction of needle line. As a result, a pattern presser with a simple scheme suitable for high-speed operational use can be afforded.
