PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing element for tire wheels, which achieves rationalization of commodity distribution cost such as the effective utilization of resources by repeated use and the reduction of package refuse to be produced, the securement of safety for parts, the improvement of a loading efficiency in transportation, and economy in the storage of packing elements and in the transportation or the like thereof for recycling and which is excellent in returnability. SOLUTION: In this packing element, both types of tire wheels H having a shape that a hub is projected from either one side face or from both side faces of a rim are packed as an object. Holes 11 for hubs, whose number is more than twice the number of tire wheels H to be supported on a support base plate 10, are provided in the support base plate 10 having a substantially rectangular contour smaller than a contour size of a pallet P by arranging them in such a manner that, even in the case where the support base plates 10 are stacked on one another while being shifted for each support base plate, the mutual hubs of either one or both of the upper and lower tire wheels H do not interfere with each other but pass through the holes 11 to a space defined by stacking the support base plates 10. The packing element comprises a support fixing member 1 disposed on both of a front and a rear faces of the support base plate 10 and having movement-preventing means for preventing the lateral movement of the tire wheels H, which are provided around the holes 11 corresponding to the number of tire wheels H to be supported.
