PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelcoat composition inexpensive, applicable to a complicated shape such as a curved surface or the like, excellent in durability, exhibiting stainproof properties inside a house where ultraviolet light hardly comes in, for example, in a bathroom or the like and suitable, in particular, for a waterproof pan of a unit bath or the like. SOLUTION: The gelcoat composition comprises a base resin bearing a double bond, particularly an unsaturated polyester resin, a vinyl ester resin, a thermosetting acrylic resin, having incorporated therewith a modified silicone oil bearing a double bond. As the vinyl ester resin, there can be exemplified those having as a main chain compound an addition reaction product of an epoxy resin to an unsaturated monobasic acid such as acrylic acid or the like.
