PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the blow up sound caused by the working of condensed water and exhaust emission and accelerate separation of the exhaust emission from the condensed water along with the generation of condensed water when the exhaust emission in exhausted from an exhaust heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The exhaust emission exhausted from the exhaust heat exchanger is introduced to the inlet end 32 of the bent section 32 connected to a silencer 31. Exhaust emission is mixed with condensed water, and this exhaust emission and condensed water fluid mixture is blown upward in a push-up passage 322 to be carried to a first expansion chamber 323. The fluid mixture having been carried is divided into exhaust emission and condensed water in the first expansion chamber 323. They go down a descending passage including a second expansion chamber 325. The exhaust emission is sent upward in the lower section of the silencer 31, i.e., a separation chamber 312, and the condensed water is discharged downward. The condensed water is discharged outside through a drain passage forming a drain trap.
