PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower improved in safety and designed to uniformly collecting waste lawn into a weed collective cage. SOLUTION: This lawn mower is such as to be equipped with a reel blade 2 subject to rotary drive and a weed collective cage 6 for containing waste lawn weeds cut by the reel blade 2; wherein a straightening vane 19 is set up midway of a waste lawn passage from the reel blade 2 to the cage 6; by the aid of the straightening vane 19, waste lawn weeds are uniformly sent to the cage 6 throughout; furthermore, the straightening vane 19 contributes to preventing the hand and/or leg of an operator from contacting with the reel blade 2 at a position where the weed collective cage 6 is detached.
