PURPOSE:To minimize the time for movement of a head moving back and forth between a component supplying part and a printed board, by a system wherein the printed board is made movable in a first direction by a working station, the component supplying part in the first direction likewise and the head in a second direction crossing the first direction. CONSTITUTION:Provision is so made that a board P is movable in the direction of the axis X, by a working station 3 each of component supplying parts 12a and 12b in the direction of the axis X likewise and each of heads 20a to 20c in the direction of the axis Y respectively. These move relatively within an X-Y plane and the component supplying parts 12a and 12b supply chip components to the working station 3 respectively. Even in the case when the component supplying parts 12a and 12b are provided in extension in the direction of the axis X for mounting more kinds of chip components, the time for movement of each of the heads 20a to 20c moving back and forth between the board P and each of the component supplying parts 12a and 12b is made a necessary minimum by moving the component supplying parts 12a and 12b to positions of suction of each of the heads 20a to 20c. |
