PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating cycle system having excellent safety and reliability and capable of assuring sufficient safety of a refrigerating cycle equipment such as a compressor or the like by preventing a liquid compression when started. SOLUTION: Return holes 13, 14 for passing a refrigerant and a lubricating oil are respectively provided at upper and lower parts of a suction pipe 12 in a suction cup 10. When a liquid refrigerant arrives at the upper hole 13 over the lower hole 14, the liquid refrigerant gradually flows into the pipe 12 through the hole 13. Thus, the state in which the liquid refrigerant abruptly flows from an upper end opening 12a of the pipe 12 is avoided.
