PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor, capable of reducing erroneous detection caused by changing of the kind of sheet material. SOLUTION: A light emitter, provided with an LED(B) emitting blue light with a wave length in blue region (below 500 nm) as a light emitter is provided, in a paper, detector 39.
