PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a distortion compensation circuit that functions on an amplifier with a characteristic whose gain increases with the increase of input power or whose phase is delayed with the increase of input power. SOLUTION: The distortion compensation circuit is provided with a diode 9 that is connected in series with a signal path from an input terminal 1 to an output terminal 2, a bias terminal 3 leading to the diode 9, bias blocking capacitors 4, 5, bias short-circuiting inductor 6, an RF short-circuit capacitor 7, and a resistor 8 connected in series between the bias terminal 3 and the signal path. Bias voltage is applied to the diode 9 via the resistor 8 from the bias terminal 3. By changing the bias voltage, the excess gain of a distortion compensation circuit and a change in a passing phase is adjusted.
