PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for electronic parts, which does not cause bad contact between an electrode of the socket and an electrode terminal of the electronic parts due to attachment/detachment of the electronic parts, and is easy to produce by virtue of a selectively simple structure. SOLUTION: An electrode portion 10 of a socket 10b is formed of a ring shape electrode 10f having contacts 25 and 26 that are in contact with an electrode terminal 2a of an electrode 2 and an electrode terminal 17a of an electrode 17 to be connected. The electrode 10 is produced by forming a substantially rectangular elastic plate by blanking an elastic plate material having a desired thickness, and by forming the elastic plate into a round shape in which both ends 10e are faced with each other.
