PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent troubles concerning contactor. SOLUTION: This control device for a hybrid vehicle, having an engine 4 and a motor 2, is equipped with a pre-charge contactor 10b which is installed between a man battery 1 and a power drive unit 8 and connects them via a pre-charge resistor 10c, a main contactor 10a connecting them directly, a contactor control means 15, and a pre-charge control means 15. The contactor control means 15 turns the pre-charge contactor on, starts pre-charge to a capacitor 9 built in the power drive unit, turns the main contactor on, when a voltage between the primary side and the secondary side of the pre-charge contactor becomes lower than or equal to a prescribed value, and then turns the pre- charge contactor off. The pre-charge control means 15 inhibits an on-command to the main contactor, when the engine is started, and reopens pre-charge to the capacitor after the engine is started. |
