PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition method, capable of commonly using a registered pattern for matching and shortening the work time necessary for teaching of the registered pattern. SOLUTION: In an image recognition method specifying a detection target by matching the image obtained by photographing a recognition object, containing the same detection target with a registered pattern by a plurality of image recognition device having an optical system with different optical magnification, image data of a common registered pattern, is stored for the same detection target. When matching of the image of recognition object is conducted, the common registered pattern is converted to individual registered pattern, based on the optical magnification of each optical system. By this, a common registered pattern can be used for an image recognition device, provided with an optical system having different optical magnification. |
