PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve use and saving energy by making the start time of a fixing unit rapid. SOLUTION: It enhances transmission of a glass tube 28 by forming the glass tube 28 of the halogen heater 23 mounted within a fixing roller 18 of a transparent quartz having the thickness of 0.8 mm or less, and reduces the heat loss by the glass tube 28 when starting the fixing unit.
