PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, thin, and inexpensive spindle motor by preventing noncormities that a magnet for rotary drive is assembled obliquely, in contact with a corner caused by drawing in a rotor yoke in the spindle motor for FDD, where the magnet for rotary drive in a ring shape has been fixed to the inside of the rotor yoke that has been subjected to drawing. SOLUTION: Three projecting parts 13 are provided on a plane that opposes a coil 9 of a rotor yoke 10, and a magnet 12 for rotary drive is bonded and fixed, in contact with the magnet 12 for rotary drive in the axial direction. The projection dimension of the projecting parts 13 is set larger than the radius of a corner R inside the rotor yoke 10.
